Assisted Living Ohio - What's Provided By Ohio Senior Living Centers
What exactly is an assisted living facility? It is a place for people that need help with Activities of Daily Living, but they wish to live as independently for as long as they can. These facilities are meant to be a bridge between independent living and the nursing home. Residents in these facilities are not able to live alone but they do not need constant care either. Assisted living facilities help with such things as bathing, dressing, eating, housekeeping, laundry and being assisted with medications. This is not a nursing home alternative, but it offers an intermediate level of long-term care that is appropriate for many of our senior citizens. Here are just a couple of Ohio assisted living facilities that you will find in Ohio:
Sunrise Assisted Living Ohio (Englewood) is a place where seniors may enjoy an active, gracious lifestyle. The different levels or care are personalized and they range from light support all the way up to comprehensive assistance that give the residents all the Activities of Daily Living. At Sunrise Senior Living of Englewood, licensed nurses take care of dispensing medications as well as providing wellness checks on the residents. Residents are also able to enjoy laundry and housekeeping services, three restaurant style meals, daily scheduled activities, etc. For those residents who suffer from memory impairment, they are helped in Reminiscence which is dedicated to the concept of compassionate care. Mercy Siena Gardens is a part of the Mercy Siena Retirement Community that is situated on 38 acres of wooded land in North Dayton, Ohio. It has been providing quality care for Ohio senior living for the past 63 years. The dedicated associates who work at the Gardens believe in person-centered care for their residents. The Gardens has many amenities which include the following: the Dining Room with a variety of menus, a Beauty/Barber shop for the convenience of the residents and massages are offered in the Health Modality room.
